Hilu Kangas-Ranta

Hilu Kangas-Ranta works as works as a senior EU advisor for economic and urban policy and cultural and creative fields. Her responsibilities include monitoring EU policy and funding in these fields, as well as EU advocacy work.

Hilu has previously worked for the University of Helsinki, for the Finnish Government as an expert on EU and international affairs and in the Finnish Parliament as a political secretary and MP’s assistant. Hilu has a master’s degree in social sciences from the University of Helsinki (political history and development studies) and later on in her studies she has specialized in communication and change management.
