Niina Nurkkala is a Senior EU Advisor of the Research and Innovation Policy at Helsinki EU Office. She is also responsible for the oversight and advocacy of the EU Innovation and Research Framework Program Horizon. Earlier, Niina Nurkkala has worked as Special Advisor in EU Affairs to both Finnish Prime Minister and Minister of Finance. She is also experienced in working as advocacy advisor in NGO sector. Niina has graduated as a Master of Arts in Economic History from the University of Jyväskylä.
