University Alliance boosts Hanken’s research activities

In 2023, Hanken School of Economics proudly joined the prestigious ENGAGE.EU University Alliance. This Alliance enhances research through various collaborative activities. ENGAGE.EU also supports research advancement by organizing annual Think Tanks for its researchers and improving exchange opportunities across different career levels.

Recently, the Alliance awarded seed funding to outstanding research initiatives under its ENGAGE.EU Research Label call. Among the recipients Associate Professor April Spivack(siirryt toiseen palveluun) from Hanken was recognized for her role in an application that provided funding to organize a conference on circular economy.

This achievement highlights the impactful collaboration and research opportunities fostered by the ENGAGE.EU Alliance which is exactly what the European Commission hopes from the alliances it funds. In addition to research collaboration, the project also aims to enhance sharing best practice and other synergies in research management and administration between the institutions and has a work package looking for ways to make this happen.
